Creative Digital Content Assistant
As a Creative Digital Content Intern, you’ll be the heartbeat of our storytelling across social and digital platforms. You’ll help bring our brand to life by designing content that is bold, real, and empowering — from Instagram Reels to Pinterest mood boards. Your creative touch will reflect the lived experiences of young women in construction.
What You’ll Do:

Design graphics, edit videos, and create written and visual content for social media, blog, and email campaigns.

Support multimedia projects such as interviews, career tips, and educational reels.

Contribute to platform-specific content strategies (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube).

Collaborate on campaigns like “Girl Under Construction of the Week” and global spotlights.

Help brainstorm and develop storytelling formats that highlight empowerment and representation.

Business Operations Assistant
We have 3 types of Projects (Outreach, Social Events and Marketing & Comms). As a Business Operations Intern, you’ll support the behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps our impactful projects running smoothly. You’ll assist in organizing events, tracking project milestones, and helping our small but mighty team stay aligned as we build programs, partnerships, and community.
What You’ll Do:

Work closely with the Director to ensure the GUC Team and all GUC activities are running efficiently.

Assist with developing and implementing strategies + processes that maximize the teams productivity and daily business functions.

Assist with project planning, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation across multiple initiatives.

Help coordinate virtual meetings, workshops, and team scheduling.

Support data management and reporting for social campaigns, member engagement, and event attendance.

Liaise with stakeholders, speakers, and brand partners to ensure smooth collaboration.

Contribute to systems that help us scale our community and global campaign efforts.

Research & Data Analyst Assistant
You'll be fairly flexible as you assist with a variety of tasks and you’ll work as part of the core part of the Team. As a young woman who is also passionate about the Industry, we'll also value your opinion - you'll have input into the many ideas we are working on as we progressively grow the platform. Tasks can range from:

General Research for GUC project per time.

Ensures data availability for analysis and the organisation + storage of the data throughout the project.

Provide helpful insights and analysis to the wider team on various industry related topics/themes per time.

As a Strategic Marketing & Communications Intern at Girls Under Construction, you’ll help shape the voice of our brand and amplify the stories of young women in construction. You’ll support campaign planning, content scheduling, audience engagement, and messaging across platforms. Your work will directly contribute to growing our impact, visibility, and partnerships.

Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns aligned with our vision and strategic pillars.

Draft and schedule content for LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, and more.

Conduct research to support messaging and communication strategies.

Support media outreach, press release drafting, and PR campaign ideas.

Collaborate with the content and operations teams to ensure consistency across all channels.
